About Geaprodukt

The company Geaprodukt Ltd. was established on March 1 in 1990. We specialise in trade and distribution of fresh and dry fruit and vegetables.

Today, in Slovenia we are one of the leading trade companies in the field. In 2003 the company's sales turnover, mostly from wholesale trade, reached 25.000.000,00 €.

In terms of organisation we are present across the diagonal of Slovenia and we have offices with selling facilities in Ljubljana (Devova 18), Maribor, Celje and Ankaran. Using services of port KOPER is a part of our operations.

Three basic functions are being carried out in our offices:

• Distribution of fruit and vegetables or whole selling to bigger consumers and shops in the region, where they are situated.
• Purchase of domestic production of local origin.
• Cash&cary or retail selling to final consumers.

We employ around 85 people. Employees with many years of experiences ensure safe operation on domestic as well as on foreign markets. Precision, obliging attitude and the readiness to engage in a dialogue are our virtues, which enable optimal handling with such sensitive goods as fruits and vegetables.

Our offer of fresh fruit and vegetables is adapted to the needs of the retail sale shops, big shopping chains, big and small catering systems and to the needs of individuals. Our selling programme includes a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, exotics, mushrooms, nuts, dry fruit, etc.

The quality of goods is ensured by appropriate transport, storage and control of incoming and outgoing goods. The control is being carried out by a control team, which incorporates an established expert with many years of experiences in the field. The control team examines the following criterion: freshness, quality, appearance, taste, weight, suitability of the packaging, etc.
